How popular is my site

Looking around the net from seomoz i found a few sites that give me a flavour of popularity against some of our key competition.

Whats it all mean?

Basically as far as i can tell looking deeper into some of these figures.

• Halfords site is busy (no surprise there then)
• Europerformance - ok, nothing really to report (apart from the ajax on there new site is nasty)
• Edworthys - theres some wild swings in figures there, sometimes good sometimes terrible. I know looking at a couple of the heavy hitters, hitwise and another one whos name i cant remember the high figures arent backed up on them.
• Top Gear - not as good as i thought they'd be considering a good chunk of traffic must be coming from people looking for the tv programme - complete showed lots of visitors little rank which would appear to back that up.
• Rochford - generally solid although there rapid fall on alexa would indicate that they got the toolbar on spammed it and now cant be arsed to use it.
  
• Us - generally ok

Notable ommissions.

Rtec - complete tosser, i have such a dislike of this bloke without having ever met him that i really couldnt be arsed to look at his fruit machine of a site. UPDATE - i checked out rtecshop rankings. On compete.com he didnt even exist, alexa was off to 700,000 or somewhere suitably poor.. haha you muppet.

Motorsportworld - shagged the market out and now being beaten at his own game.

Demon Tweeks - erm.. just forgot them.. maybe thats a mark of our opinion of them as competition

Extreme Auto Accessories - again just forgot about them till id finished writing up strong results on hitwise though. check on compete and alexa. pretty good actually one to watch.


I got sight of the hitwize stats a while ago, notibly only potn, rochford, topgear and extreme auto accessories got any traffic/rank of note.

If you would'nt like to be ripped off with 400-500% over samsungs rrp on telecoms equipment, do not use Eurotel.

BBS Alloy Wheels Goes Pop

The ever VW modders favourite BBS wheels has gone tits up.

Such a shame as i know Motorsport Tuning the UK importers have just given it a big push and one of my webmonkeys has just spent a day databasing it.

Not sure which formula 1 teams use BBS anymore but im sure they will find some other sap to waste a load of cash on the most boring motorsport of all time.
